Student Work

The Frost School Art Gallery will display the work of students past and present. Keep checking back. One of these may soon be considered a masterpiece.

Phoenix Mural

Phoenix Mural

This mural was designed and painted by Caitlin, who graduated from the Frost School in 2005. It depicts two phoenix forming a circle. The symbol of the Frost School, the phoenix is a mythical bird that destroys itself in a pyre only to be reborn from the ashes. This embodies the ideal that students who have had difficulties in school in the past can start again at the Frost School and find success along the way. The quote, "Believe in yourself and you remake yourself," was contributed by Telita.

Summer 2001 Art Class Totem Pole

Students in the summer art class created individual totems to make a totem pole which represented the class as a group. The totems use symbolism to present a self-portrait of the artist. The students used additive and subtractive methods to create their totems. The individual totems use the same three-color palette to show the students' connection to each other.

The totem pole was donated to The Frost School by the artists, and is on display in the "Tool-Shed Garden" in the rear of the building.
